My submisson for s contest

The point of this picture is to spread and inform poeple of just how bad oil spills have become and that real action needs to be taken to stop making the same mistakes. In recent news, The BP Gulf of Mexico oil Spill has now spread a deadly chemical into the sea that was mixed into the oil, ofcourse the spill was never on purpose, but it doesn't stop the fact that it has now caused an unbelievable amount of damage to marine life and the enviroment as a whole.

* Or even just adding a journal on your DA, facebook, twitter Tumblr... ANY community based website, it's fine as it still lets poeple know about this

* Use public transport or a bike when travelling more, as it uses much less oil

* Ask to donate your hairdressers/barbers to donate your hair. it can help soak up the oil, even pet hair works!

* When shopping, instead of plastic, try using paper or material types bags instead, some shops even sell these re-usable ones for very cheap

* Try Petitions such as this one to ban offshore drilling for good - [link]

I hope that this has at least given you an idea of just how saddening this is, its not right or fair to be lied to and then suffer the price for it, especially the victims in this case - animals, marine life and Earth need to be taken better care of.
